Yellow Sweet Clover Bundle (Melilotus officinalis) – Melilotus comes from two Greek words meaning honey lotus or fragrant like the lotus. If you have ever smelled Sweet Grass it is very similar, sweet and intoxicating. It grows abundantly in Colorado in midsummer. It can be used in ritual in the same ways as Sweet Grass, but doesn’t burn as easily. It gets spirits’ attention and can be used in any visionary work or honoring work.
